Tool Rack

Item

This tool rack I designed and 3D printed in multicolor is made to fit snuggly between two large drawers of electrical components that I have in my room. It is designed to hold a set of wire cutters/strippers, a digital calliper, and a solder sucker.

The rack held up by some containers.

All the pieces printed on my A1.

Development

I designed the rack rather quickly as I wanted more space on my desk in my room as it was an area I solder a lot in but have a lot of clutter from tools layed out normally. This rack fixes that by upholding some of the larger tools that wouldn't otherwise fit in the drawers in the neighboring shelves. It was also a way for me to try out at the time my Bambu Labs A1's new AMS Lite multicolor system that I had just installed. It took about 2 prints to get everything right on the design, as well as because the first version I printed lacked the solder sucker rack which I went back and added.
