About Me
My name is Nicholas Niles, I am 19 years old and I grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina. I am currently a freshman at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), and am pursuing both a bachelers and a masters in electrical engineering in their accelerated scholar program that I was offered. I have a huge passion for coding and electronics, having poured thousands of hours in and outside the classroom as a hobby into building all kinds of things. I am almost entirely self-taught in both programming and electronics but was able to develop my engineering skills in my high school's expansive engineering program which I am very fortunate to have had. I have taken every opportunity to expand my learning, taking every engineering and computer science course offered at my high school, and even taking advantage of programs outside of the classroom like Fab Academy. I have also taken on many jobs, all of which have been in one way or another tied to engineering.
