Hex Storage is a small project I worked on with the aim of making convienent and small storage units that fit together to any shape or size to store small electronics parts. It is good for holding components like LEDs, resistors, and more and is designed size-wise for small through-hole components.
I designed the Hexagonal Storage unit using Fusion360. I used Fusion to create a flat 2D sketch of each piece that I would need to construct the unit. I then exported that DXF and opened it in Corel Draw to make modifications. Once ready, I sent it to an Epilog laser, inserted the materials, and began the cut. I then constructed it using the tabs I built into the design as well as some glue.
